There are many ways to support what happens at Unitarian Universalist Church of Rutland. You can give your time, your expertise, and your resources.

Annual pledge
During the March Canvass, make a commitment to the annual fund in support of the operating budget. [link to pledge form]
Offertory
On Sundays, place a cash donation in the plate when it is passed during the Offering. Local non-profit organizations, doing good work in the wider Rutland community, may be designated to receive half of the funds collected. To nominate an organization for consideration by the board, please fill out a ___________ form. [link to form]
Annual Goods & Service Auction
Participate in the annual auction by donating services or new and gently used goods. Attend the auction to enjoy delicious food, bid on silent auction items, and raise your paddle for items in the live auction.
Non-cash Giving
Stocks or mutual funds are another way to contribute. You may qualify for a tax deduction so consult your tax advisor on the proper method of transferring the stock or mutual fund to the Unitarian Universalist Church of Rutland.
Memorial Giving
A memorial donation is a thoughtful way to honor or remember a friend or loved one. Memorial gifts are added to the UUCR Memorial Endowment, established in 20XX. Please alert the office if you plan to designate the Church as a “in lieu of flowers” recipient, so those donations are recorded as such, and receive the list of names of donors and the total amount donated.
Legacy Giving
Become a legacy member by designating Unitarian Universalist Church of Rutland in your will. Over the years the church has been the fortunate beneficiary of generous bequests. These gifts are held in the UUCR Memorial Endowment Fund and provide on-going and lasting support for the Unitarian Universalist Church of Rutland.
