Every week, and periodically throughout the year, we find ways to strengthen our connections with one another and build the bonds of community.
Sunday Coffee Time
Weekly, after the service, we gather in the rear of the sanctuary for coffee and conversation. We make welcome newcomers and check in our friends. On the Sundays when Rev Barbara is with us we extend the coffee time offerings with savory snacks and baked goods to encourage people to stay and socialize with Rev Barbara and each other.
Circle Dinners
Twice a year, we organize a series of potlucks hosted by members the church. Newcomers and members of the congregation sign up to attend these friendly gatherings.
Seasonal Activities
A number of activities are scheduled throughout the year, from hikes and picnics, to book discussions and craft nights.
Contra Dances
Several times a year we host a community contra dance. Dancers of all ages and any ability are welcome. All dances are taught and refreshments are available.
Coffeehouse Concerts
Throughout the year, we host a series of coffeehouse concerts. These events provide the wider community a chance for an intimate musical experience in our lovely sanctuary. Tickets are available at the door and any proceeds, after the band is paid, goes to benefit the upkeep of the church building.
Camp Compassion
Our new RE Summer Camp meets on Saturdays from 9:30-12:30. Each week our RE educator Jesse has created a curriculum based on one of our UU Principles.
